This eLearning is designed for all healthcare professionals who are involved in the administration of vaccines. It is an opportunity to refresh, consolidate and evaluate immunisation knowledge and technical skills. Upon completion, you will be able to:
  • identify the principles of the cold chain
  • identify the importance of pre-immunisation screening and consent
  • describe a contraindication to vaccination
  • identify the correct process for administering vaccines to infants, children and adults
  • understand the requirements of reporting to immunisation registers
  • identify and manage adverse events following immunisation (AEFIs)
  • understand "No Jab, No Pay" and "No Jab, No Play" legislation.
