    Immunising children and infants – December 2021 (virtual event)

    This webinar was delivered to support providers administering COVID-19 vaccines to the paediatric population. It included information on:
    • age-appropriate positioning for safe vaccination
    • distraction tools for different age groups
    • communication and consent
    • recognising of AEFI and how they pay present in a paediatric population
    • required documentation
    • identifying anatomical landmarks and correct site for injection in infants and children (anterolateral thigh and the deltoid)
